Daisy Air Rifle

1959 Daisy Air Rifle Instruction Booklet
published in Rogers, Arkansas

This instruction booklet emphasizes safe bb gun handling. The booklet tells how to set up different ranges and proper etiquette on the ranges. It is an informative booklet that also shows different positions for the shooter to use. It informs the user of the definition of a spring air gun including the Red Ryder lever action rifle and the Model 25 pump rifle. As in all the Daisy booklets it includes the

Code of a Daisy Air Rifleman;

  • Treat every gun as if it was loaded and ready to shoot.
  • Never carry a gun into your home, camp or Public Place loaded or cocked.
  • Always be sure your gun barrel is clean and not plugged.
  • Carry your gun so you can control the direction of the muzzle, even if you stumble.
  • Be sure of your target before you pull the trigger.
  • Never point a gun at anything you do not want to shoot.
  • Guns not being used should always be unloaded.
  • Never climb a tree or fence or jump a ditch with a loaded gun.
  • Never shoot at a flat hard surface or the surface of water.
  • Respect other people’s property.
